Musings
I wonder,
As I sit trapped,
In this place.
Bereft of any joy or humour.
Pretending to be happy,
And enjoying what I am doing.
Another charade-
To play my role.
Will there be a change?
The darkness that continues to haunt me
Is puzzling!
Will the shining light!
That I aspire for,
And dream in drug-induced sleep
Brighten my life-
In reality?
